Hoskins & Dieuvil PC is a boutique law firm founded in 2013 by two young minority lawyers, Sebastian Hoskins and Joe Dieuvil. Their vision, expertise, and enthusiasm drove them to establish a firm that provides legal protection in the various industries while promoting racial equity within the legal profession.
With diverse Latin and Caribbean backgrounds, Sebastian Hoskins and Joe Dieuvil have positioned themselves as experienced attorneys who understand and embrace cultural diversity. SEBASTIAN HOSKINS
Founding partner
With a background in finance, entrepreneurship, banking, trademark, film, and television, Sebastian brings a diverse range of expertise to his clients. His primary focus areas include film and television production, finance, start-up and emerging businesses, as well as trademark prosecution and protection.
Mr. Hoskins is well-versed in various aspects of the entertainment industry, including rights agreements, licensing, production agreements, securities compliance, start-up financing and strategy, and brand development and protection.
Notable recent transactions Sebastian has been involved in include financing a slate of independently produced films and providing seed series and Series-A financing for emerging companies in technology, packaged foods, and consumer electronics sectors.
Prior to co-founding Hoskins | Dieuvil P.C., Sebastian gained valuable experience working with esteemed firms and organizations such as Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross P.C., ICM, GreeneStreet Films, Cinetic Media, Wells Fargo Bank, and a boutique entertainment law firm in New York.
Sebastian holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and he is licensed to practice law in New York and California. His extensive background and expertise make him a valuable asset in guiding clients through the intricacies of the entertainment and business industries.
JOSEPH DIEUVIL
Founding partner
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Joseph earned his Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude from the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and was honored with induction into the University of Florida's Hall of Fame.
In May 2010, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, specializing in International and Entertainment Law. As part of his legal studies, Joseph spent his final year at the University of Leiden Faculty of Law in the Netherlands, near the city of Amsterdam. Currently, he represents numerous esteemed music professionals and artists.
Joseph is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey, bringing his expertise and dedication to serve clients in these jurisdictions.
